A soft wood with a distinctive aroma, Cedar is generally easy to work but is knotty and tends to be narrow presenting some challenge. A very slow growing species, Aromatic Cedar is light red with streaks of creamy white and is often used in linings, trim etc. in Linen and blanket boxes, in drawers and closets.
